Explanation of Extrapolated Standings:
http://sc2k5.com/drupal/node/11

Simple Explanation of Extrapolated Standings:
A = Strongest Character
B = Character Weaker than A
C = Character Weaker than B
To figure out a character's Xsts Percentage ---> [(CvB)(BvA)]/50 = CvA
To compare how C would do against B ---> [(CvA)/(BvA)]*50 = CvB
To figure out how B would do against A ---> [(CvA)/(CvB)]*50 = BvA

No. If she gets out of the first round, it will be a long, grueling struggle with Vivi. Solid Snake did get a boost from MGS3 and possibly MGA.

What's with the ridiculous overestimations of Terra lately?

Comparing her to Cloud, Squall, or Tidus is dumb, because she's not nearly as central to the game as they are. Sure, I guess you could call her the "main character" if you wanted, but FFVI is obviously intended to have an ensemble cast rather than focusing on one particular individual.

I'm calling it now: she'll be 2% or less from Kefka, be it above or below.

No...you're seriously kidding me. Zelda is far from the popularity of Snake. Cloud is to Sephy is to Aeris as Link is to Ganon is to Zelda. Zelda is levels below Snake. TP won't come until late this year. Without TP, I'd say Snake has his division wrapped up.

What about Alucard vs. Sora? Everyone thinks Sora will win, but it just isn't adding up.

Solid Snake did get a boost from MGS3 and possibly MGA.

Any boost is minimal. All the boost will do is maybe keep him in the noble nine. MGS3 gave Big Boss and Ocelot bigger boosts.

2% above Kefka's Spring 2005 value is still enough to beat Dante.

If anyone takes out Snake it's going to be Zelda, not Ryu/Bowser/Tidus.

>_>
<_<

*wait's for someone to say VIVI'D*

I still have Snake > Zelda, and obviously over the rest of them, if it weren't for MGS3, which will give Snake a VERY noticable boost, I don't care if it's Big Boss, he's identical to Snake in every way, and throughout the game they mostly call him Snake, The Boss calling him Jack, and almost no reference to the term "Naked."

I would vote for Tidus's face, especially over Snake's horrible mug.

Uh, isn't 2% over Kefka's Spring Value just barely over Vercetti?

Dante would get 30% on a 2004 Seph, so Terra would have to be a little bit stronger than that. But I believe in teh Dante Boost anyway.

The Black Mage is taking out the Hylian Princess. 2003 Zelda > 2005 Zelda.

Oh, and we ended on the worst possible note in that last topic.

Big Boss beating Auron would make this the greatest contest ever.

You mean the worst contest ever. Auron is superior to any and all things MGS.

But I still believe you're incredibly mistaken. Bowser can beat Snake and Ryu can beat Snake. There's no reason to just ignore the results from the Spring Contest and say that Bowser got nothing; that's just as foolish as saying Bowser increased above Mario.
