I'm not a fan of Wimbledon. It's not like any of these tennis players who dominate at Wimbledon do anything when they're on clay, anyway.

I'm aware that my positions for Samus/Mario/Crono look weird, but I had to either pick something or let them all tie for fourth place. It's probably an A > B > C > A loop, after all. Really, you could put them in any order and argue that it's correct.

Sarah Kerrigan’s dominance of the nomination topic cannot be understated. Upon crossing 40 or so votes she obliterated the competition and never looked back. When she gets in, she’ll undoubtedly have the board vote and is primed for another SC/Diablo run.

Frankly, support for SC characters can only be on the decline on the front page now that Sp2k4 is long out of recent memory. If campaigning on this level fails I will be saddend to know that the board doesn't have a real voice, but I'll also be quite justified in believing that SC characters just don't have a place in the contest.

If Kerrigan doesn't make the bracket (barring a direct Ceej mention stating why she was excluded), then it'll be obvious that nomination rallying is worthless, and I'll no longer bother to nominate at all.

And I think it's funny that on the Brood War board, the quote is "Carriers = Instant Win" but that has somehow changed on all other boards to "Mass Carriers = Instant Win"

I wasn't paying attention, how long were noms this time? It seemed short compared to the last couple of nomination periods.

Almost exactly 4 days. The Summer 2003 nominations were only open for about 2 days so it's not the shortest one ever. The Spring 2005 noms lasted about a week.

Oh yeah, I remember that quite clearly. That's why I didn't say anything silly like "the shorest yet". S2k3 nominations went fast. Glad I had mine in day one. But other than that, if we don't count the time that it was available only to the board isn't this the shortest one sicne 2k3?

Of course nominations were probably more cut and dry and there are less factors to consider when there are less entrants involved.

Summer 2002- Informal nominations, unknown length of time
Summer 2003- About 2 days
Spring 2004- About 4.5 days
Summer 2004- 4-6 days
Spring 2005- Almost 7 days
Summer 2005- 4 days

So it is the shortest since Summer 2003 but not by much.

If it doesn't come out tomorrow, I would expect it to be released closer to the beginning of July. Not in July, but closer to July 1st.
