What mission are you having trouble with? If you're new to RTS games, mission 9 can screw you up pretty bad as it's the first time you'll see Carriers.

Oh, and for Leonhart: I finally started MGS2. I miss Mei Ling, although Otacon as Mei Ling was hilarious. Rose just sucks.

You're the entire reason I haven't rated MGS2 yet. And though you'll hate Rose, don't hate Raiden because of her. Hopefully you haven't had the plot ruined for you yet, because there are two long codec conversations near the end of the game that are some of the best writing in all of gaming.

And are you ever on AIM? I never see you.

*MGS2/STARCRAFT SPOILERS AHEAD*







I'm on the fourth mission. Kerrigan just hatched when I saved. I was having trouble with the third, because my Mutalisks were too slow to avoid getting torn up by marines, and Overlords were too slow to drop in ground troops, even after being upgraded. I ended up using hit-and-run tactics to take out the missile turrets, then just sent two full groups on the weak side of the base.

In MGS2, I think I did have one plot twist spoiled, if it involves E. E. I had thought I had Oceliquid spoiled as well, but since it was revealed right at the beginning, I wouldn't really call that a spoiler.

As for AIM, I forgot my password some time ago and never bothered to take my old name out of my profile, plus most people I bothered talking to used MSN more often. I need to get around to downloading AIM again.

The one weakness that game has is a lack of awesome boss fights; MGS was very action-driven, while MGS2 is very story-driven. The first "real" boss fight is with Fatman, and I'm not going to ruin the surprise for you. There are great boss fights, but not as many as MGS 1/3.

How is "Reflection"?

Ick. On its own, I wouldn't call it bad or anything. It's just that the storyline has absolutely nothing to do with what the creator of the series had in mind. There is a "real" ending to it, and the ending presented in Seisouhen is not it.
