*Extrapolated Standings*

Explanation of Extrapolated Standings:
http://sc2k5.com/drupal/node/11

Simple Explanation of Extrapolated Standings:
A = Strongest Character
B = Character Weaker than A
C = Character Weaker than B
To figure out a character's Xsts Percentage ---> [(CvB)(BvA)]/50 = CvA
To compare how C would do against B ---> [(CvA)/(BvA)]*50 = CvB
To figure out how B would do against A ---> [(CvA)/(CvB)]*50 = BvA

Wish I had signed up for a Guru contest (finishing in a respectable third) or made the leaderboard. I don't think enough people picked Ganondorf to win for me to make the leaderboard. Maybe next contest.

It seems that every year we have a near perfect who only lost one match which was somewhat obvious to the rest of us. Balrog0 picking KOS-MOS, the 1-point bracket missing out on a zero because he had Gordon Freeman winning, etc.

of course I mean the Spring. Last year's summer contest was the 2nd worst. We've been going downhill.

I want another game contest, even if it does mean another FF78/OOt showdown. Let them meet in the final, and randomly break up the whole thing. It'll be fun seeing halo's progression, Sonic's degression, StarCraft the wild card, etc.

This contest certainly wasn't a dud...there were plenty of surprising results.

From the more extreme of Master Hand, Liquid Snake bombing, Bowser/Ganon doing well to the somewhat expected in Diablo, this contest was pretty good.

If you ask me, all of the contests have their redeeming matches, and none have been "bad." Last summer you had Jill Valentine/Ryu not once, but twice, all of frog's matches, with master chief/frog being insane, sora/ryu...I mean the matches were there, and we've still yet to see a perfect, ever.

Yeah, Jill/Ryu was about as bad as a 50.02/49.98 match could possibly be. Hardly anyone cared about the characters, the first day had a clear result, and then when he ran the poll again and it was closer, all I could think was how boring it was to sit through the same poll again and how lame it would be I lost the point after Ryu had been performing better the first day.
