I think Sephiroth has cemented his place at being the most wildly inconsistent character ever. Between 2k2 and 2k3, he gained upwards of 10%, then lost 3% between 2k3 and 2k4 and has apparently lost another 4.5% between 2k4 and Sp2k5 (all on everyone's favorite base, 2k3 Link). In the summer contest, he's either going to beat Link or lose to Snake; I haven't figured out which yet.
