They better fix his recovery ability then. I remember I hated using Link on the Great Fox in the original SSB because if I ever fell to the bottom, I had to use his up-B move just to get back up because he couldn't jump high enough on his own.

I've never been a fan of what Nintendo has done to poor Link. In SSB, the first character I chose to play as was Link and eventually I discovered that he sucked ass. In SSBM, the first character I chose to play as was Link and I discovered that he was a little better, but still not that great.


You see, Nintendo is just working up him until he's unstoppable in the next SSB. Mwa ha ha! And, luckily, it'll be the one where you can face people online. Oh, how unlucky you people have it if Nintendo fulfills my long awaited wish... <3

Link's recovery is fine, simply because of how difficult it is to edgeguard/Edge Hog him. He can Hookshot to edge to come in low enough to prevent most things, and if you get knocked a good distance away, pull out a bomb before making your first jump.

Bomb, Jump, Up + B, Bomb explodes, Up + B again.

and, i am still saying that Ganon will not do quite as well as Bowser. he will be close, but i don't think he will be able to keep tied for the first hour like Bowser did. i'm predicting that ganon will finish just under 40%.

If Ganondorf scores higher than 33.25%, Tenpenny is the weakest character in the contest, beating out Giygas for that noble award.
After Tenpenny and Giygas, the battle for third place is between Luca Blight and Pyramid Head. If Ganon breaks 43%, Luca Blight > Pyramid Head.
After them, Ghaleon and Kuja duel it out for 5th place. Ganondorf needs to break 43.1% for Kuja to beat Ghaleon.

Meh, but I'm suspicious about Robotnik vs. Ganondorf. My expectations for Robotnik were lower than most anybody's, and he STILL is measured to be weaker than I thought he would. I also thought Sin, Master Hand, and Kuja would all be considerably stronger. I don't think it's any coincidence. :/ Or, maybe CATS is really that popular this year, Diablo is underperforming in this match, and Ganondorf is a monster capable of beating Sephiroth. I think I'll go with the first option. (no, I won't accept it all being accurate!)
