Why wouldn't he? Robo's doing worse than Ansem on a common opponent, after all. I'd probably still pick Robo > CATS unless Robotnik falls too far, but why is there some idea that a weak character like CATS can't win a match no matter the opponent? Look at Serious Sam, for crying out loud: he's ranked 106 out of the 109 characters that have even been in a contest and he still won a match.

Sam ended up under 60, but...anyway, I wholeheartedly agree that CATS is capable of beating a very weak character. I just can't fathom how Robotnik could possibly fall into the same category as a Luca Blight. And yes, I know what the stats say today, but that doesn't make it any easier to believe.

Well, the CCMO in the all time list is based on my adjustments for Cloud, which are probably not accurate, though I couldn't tell you whether they're too high or too low. I have him at 12.86%; Sigma through 2k3 Bowser is at 12.8%.

Comparing Ms. Pac-Man to Robotnik is just...wrong, somehow. This just doesn't make a lick of sense. We've had four other Sonic characters in this tournament perform solidly, and then Robotnik came in and won his first two matches comfortably enough to avoid having any of us think of him as garbage. And now we're supposed to believe that a four-pack consisting of two main bosses from Final Fantasy titles, the final "boss" of one of the most popular series of fighting games to ever hit the consoles, and perhaps the most single-fought enemy in the history of video games all rank below an aging internet fad? I. Do. Not. Buy. It. There's something seriously wrong with this picture, somewhere.

Does anyone here still believe in beating threshholds? As in how, say, Ganondorf is beating Robotnik with 76.4%, and Sephiroth is exstrapolatedly expected to get, say, 84% on him, but only gets, say 78%, for whatever reason.

I personally still think they exist, but perhaps it only makes sense in my little head...
