Wow, Ganondorf is cleaning up. If Sephiroth gets > 80% or < 60% on Bowser or Ganondorf, I'm calling shenanigans on this contest.

And not only are all the perfects gone, but some -3s have actually gotten onto the leaderboard. I might have a shot at leaderboard glory, but I highly doubt it, unless an insane number of -3s that aren't on the leaderboard picked Ganondorf to win it all (the most likely upset left) or possibly Diablo to upset Ganondorf.

Okay. Who would have thought for a second that Ansem would be the second strongest character in his division, especially after his struggle against CATS? At that point I was certain the entire bottom half would outrank him, but it's exactly the reverse. Ouch.

Picture notes: The only two pictures that seem to have made a noticeable impact are Angel Kefka, in favor of Kefka, and Pig Ganon, in favor of Ansem. Those could skew Wesker/Luca too low, and Ansem/CATS too high, but there's not much that can be done about it.

pig ganon hurting him? I think Ansem doing "well" the second time around wasn't due to pic factor. In the spread topic, and probably here as well, people were betting with Ansem because it was Nintendo vs Square, "no way Ansem could really get that low," stuff like that. I mean, Cats/Ansem could be bracket voting, I think. 45% had Cats, that's definitely pertinent...So if you want the fluke match look to Cats/Ansem, not Ganon/Ansem. I would think Ganon would be strong enough to be immune to pic factor at this point.

I said it when Kuja lost and I'll say it again now:

Kuja has NO casual appeal whatsoever, other than his Trance form. His overly effeminate appearance (the thong, in particular), the fact that he does practically nothing overtly for 75% of the game, not to mention he's not even seen for the first quarter of the game, does not bode well for him.

And Ulti, the first Seymour is the only tough one? Are you kiddin'? That's the easiest one. Seymour Flux is difficult if you can't defeat him fast enough to prevent him from nailing you with Total Annilhilation, and his little Aeon banishing trick makes it hard for you to sacrifice one of them to save your party.

It may not be the real Sephiroth, but he's still an active part of the storyline with Jenova in his form, something you don't learn until halfway through the game anyway. Much like Sin, Sephiroth is the ultimate goal of the game (unlike Kuja or Seymour). Plus, Sephiroth just does cool stuff, like killing Aeris, summoning Meteor, screwing up Cloud, etc.

I mean between Sephiroth destroying Liquid and making him look extremely weak compared to SC2k4, the different numbers between Kefka constant and Luca contasy in the Ruin division, and the different numbers due to Gannon and Cats, the only division I can take seriously is Bowser's.

These stats will never make sense no matter how long we look at them. Lets just face it, this is a different contest than the character contest and move on.
