This makes Kuja look super fodderiffic though... assuming Ganondorf finishes with 70%, what does that put Kuja at on him?

If I could bet my sig on that I would, but some lucky guru already owns it for a month. If I had another account over 75 karma I'd bet this one. As it stands, I'll bet you one thing that very so often isn't wagered on that matter... If Ganon is closer to his 2k3 ranking then what my stats are calling him at I'll kiss your ass for the remainder of my stay on this board. So would you like to make a wager? You taking Ganon at 29.91+ and me taking him at 29.90- vs. 2k4 Link?

First of all, I am typing this post having only seen the results of the first 3 votes of this match. I don't think Ganondorf's 2k3/2k4 ranking was accurate either. I would actually place Ganondorf at almost exactly 30. I'll still take up your bet, though. The Guru bet shouldn't take up more then about half the sig space. Would you still agree to the bet if we bet whatever space is leftover in the sig?

"character strengths are way out of proportion to what they used to be."

We have nothing to base Robotnik on at this point. Those characters could all be that weak (even Kuja *tears*). It doesn't make absolute sense to my mind either, but that doesn't mean there are all that many abnormalities involved at this point (baring liquid ****)

"Master Hand below CATS...."

Well, to be fair, I had expected that. For Kuja to be there, well, that doesn't sit right with me... but I think if people can blame an E3 trailer for 2k4 Link I can justify the same thing possesing MH for a single day. :)

You mean, how does it make Kuja look if Ganon gets in the high 60s against Robotnik, who soundly defeated Master Hand, who demolished Kuja?

Not good.

if you ask me, he comes off as being the FFX version of Kuja.

I wouldn't quite say that. For most of the game, Kuja kinda works behind the scenes and causes chaos without being directly involved (and we've seen just how much that's helped Ocelot and Wesker). Seymour is in your way from the moment you meet him, and you fight him four times (one of which is about as memorable of a fight in the FF series, if only for difficulty). Seymour has a more obvious and apparent impact on the storyline that Kuja does.

Nobody with a score of 3 or less got the match correct.

The run of the perfects comes to an end. Not a single perfect got the match correct. As I'm sure many people have pointed out by now, it was the final match of the ruin division that brought ruin to the perfects.

22 people fell off the Top 50 today. killamike1979, FearTheClown, LookIKilledU, tirta99, I3arfbag, The_Alpha_Male, Stationery__Man, Comebacks, moonmagi, JDTAY, 2royam4yggi, SilverPhoenix47, ladykilla69, IceClimberPopo, BlindAzathoth, BMVlado, Bacon_65, KenY05 and the last four perfects raziel_dark1, SubZer0619, LordAceron and crazyweasel45 did not have Diablo beating Kefka.

Okay, assuming that this remains a 74/26 split (I think Robo will close it up a tad by the end) on my Ganon we get...

Robotnik - 14.26
MH - 11.55
Kuja - 10.68

All on 2k4 Link, of course. That means Robo = Laharl (off by .01%), MH = Sly Cooper (dead on), and Kuja = Ratchet (not as close, really, with Kuja winning safely-ish).

I'll also take a moment here...

...Leonhart, we were both right and we were both wrong. I thought MH would beat Kuja and was right, while you thought MH was a joke character and was right. I didn't think MH would be far away from Ness and I was wrong, while you thought Kuja > Kefka and was wrong. Heh, I guess we had plenty of reason to argue like we did pre-contest, afterall.

All things considered, I'd probably take Kuja over Master Hand again if the match was tomorrow. I think there are a lot of factors, but E3 may be one of the most dangerous of them all. It gets games online to check out the news and therefor all of their favorite game sites. Who knows, all I know is that I'd blindly take Kuja again if there was a chance.

Ganon's stock—which had been dropping after round 1—has to go up after this.

Does it really matter? The only thing left to be decided in this contest is a) whether anyone can NOT be doubled by Sephiroth and b) what kind of outside support can Diablo conjure up on Wednesday to keep the Ruin Division from all being uber fodder?

Kuja has already lost to one absolute joke. He can't lose to CATS?

One "absolute joke" who comes from a very popular Nintendo title and was going to get support based upon that alone. Here, you are talking about a pure joke of a character. If you honestly believe that CATS would stand a good chance against Kuja, then I prefer not to even bother discussing the matter with you. Because you would be beyond help.

Obviously, the numbers aren't perfect but there's no reason to completely reject them.

And if you believe every single thing they say without the ability to think for yourself, then you are not in any sort of better position. It would be nice if you actually tried not using the stats for every single situation and sticking to them regardless of what you see or what is just common sense.
