This guy went perfect for two rounds on a FAVORITES bracket? That blows my mind.

Well, I'm happy I was right that at least one of the perfects left was a favorites bracket! I actually figured it would be the guy with Ganondorf winning though.

I didn't expect Kuja to be that much of a weakling. Ouch. Ganon vs Robotnik I expect to be a blowout, 62-38 at best. Maybe like how a Sonic vs Link match would turn out.

HARRICH: YOU SOLD YOUR SOUL AGAINST THE DEVIL, AND AS A PRICE, YOU PAY THE FIRST EVER PERFECT BRACKET. HA HA HA!!!

As I'm already sigged for by Chichiri, the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing over half of the brackets that Ridley could win. It'll kill me if Diablo wins Ruin 'cuz I've said for as long as I remember that the winner of Ridley/Diablo would win the division (I was wrong about Ridley's strength, obviously, but I'd still be right if Diablo won Ruin)..

...mother****in' devil.

I can laugh at myself. I went too far back in the topic to get that post from Harrich. ;p

I wish I saw what post we're talkin' 'bout here, heh. I GOTTA KNOW WHAT YOU SAID I SAID!!!!!

As for today's match now, Master Hand is one crazy son of a gun when it comes to the day-vote.

I posted this yesterday, I know, but I've edited it some and it's now one day before the match instead of two...but here's abunch of possibilities for Bowser/Revolver, assuming our stats are right (which some obviously aren't, don't remind me). Keep in mind some are in for solely humor's sake:

--If Revolver = Solid, Revolver beats Bowser with 53.15%
--If Revolver = Liquid, Revolver beats Bowser with 51.75%.
--If Revolver = Raiden, Revolver loses to Bowser with 19.84%.
--If Wily = Mega Man, Revolver beats Bowser with 63.5%.
--If Wily = Zero, Revolver beats Bowser with 58.52%.
--If Wily = Protoman, Revolver loses to Bowser with 34.09%
--If Wily = Sigma, Revolver loses to Bowser with 24.1%.
--If Nemesis = Claire, Revolver beats Bowser with 53.36%
--If Nemesis = Jill, Revolver loses to Bowser with 39.4%.
--If Nemesis = Wesker, Revolver loses to Bowser with 23.91%.
--If Ultros = Kefka, Revolver beats Bowser with 55.43%.
--If Ultros = Ansem (through Ganon), Revolver loses to Bowser with 43.78%.
--If Ultros = Laharl, Revolver loses to Bowser with 37.69%.
--If Ultros = Ansem (through CATS), Revolver loses to Bowser with 35.01%.
--If Ultros = CATS, Revolver loses to Bowser with 32.2%.

Heh...if Wily = MM somehow, that'd mean Revolver > Samus. Meanwhile, if Revolver = Raiden, that'd mean Ultros would get 7.5% on Link.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! not face shots again!! >_<

unless it is a close-up of Kefka's CG angel pic, he's screwed.

also, we have already confirmed that 5 of our remaining 10 perfects are going to drop:

1 SergeXVI 30 Sephiroth - picked Master Hand over Robotnik.
5 LordAceron 30 Ganondorf - picked Ganon over Sephiroth.
6 BocaSE 30 Sephiroth - picked Ocelot over Bowser.
9 MyWorldIsSNES 30 Sephiroth - picked Master Hand over Robotnik.
10 dddffffg 30 Sephiroth - picked Ocelot over Bowser.

that leaves us with five who have a shot:

2 raziel_dark1 30 Sephiroth
3 roozternyc 30 Sephiroth
4 SubZer0619 30 Sephiroth
7 silver_sun 30 Sephiroth
8 crazyweasel45 30 Sephiroth

of those, five how many do you think will even make it to Kefka vs. Diablo? and how many do you think will finish perfect? i'm thinking that 3 will still be perfect for the Ruin division final and only one will make it all the way.

"The is still one problem left. Alucard dropped like 4%."

Actually charmander, I found out what Ganon was at long before he faced Ansem and long before we could extrapolate through CATS. The secret is this, Sephiroth overperformed on Cloud in 2k3. If you take Sephs 2k4 number for him not only do you get almost exactly the same % for Ganon that CATS give (by redoing Ganon through Alucard) but you also get MM's score on Link (only half a % off from correctly predicting it) and you get Vercetti, and Gordon doing exactly as expected in the unadjusted 2k4 stats (imporant for Vercetti). I'm not sure why more people don't just believe me when I tell them that Seph over performed on Cloud in 2k3... almost everything makes sense when ya do.

Mushroom Division: Round 3 - Match 25 – (1)Bowser vs. (3)Ocelot
I wonder if Ocelot’s hand-gesture is flame resistant…

Moltar’s Analysis

Bowser
Round 1 – vs. Pyramid Head (Bowser: 83.88% - Pyramid Head: 16.12%)
Round 2 – vs. Sigma (Bowser: 78.07% - Sigma: 21.93%)

Bowser makes Sigma look really bad here…really bad.

Ocelot
Round 1 – vs. Nemesis (Ocelot: 54.66% - Nemesis: 45.34%)
Round 2 – vs. Dr. Wily (Ocelot: 54.51% - Dr. Wily: 45.49%)

Is Wily barely stronger than Nemesis? That’s what this match says.

And we start off Round 3 with a bang from Ocelot’s revolver. The bullet is aimed at Bowser. To protect himself, Bowser retreats into his shell and fires himself at Ocelot. Ocelot loses. Bowser should have no problems in this match, just like he had no problems winning in my little story.

I mean, look at things so far, Bowser made his 4 pack look like garbage, while the Ocelot/Wily/Nemesis trio is looking quite interesting. This match should answer where these three lie in comparasion to the SC2K4 characters. It might also show if Bowser past 2 blow-out victories were flukes, or signs of a new power.

Moltar’s Bracket Says: Bowser will win

Moltar’s Prediction is: Bowser 65% - Ocelot 35%

Ulti’s Analysis

Bowser absolutely destroyed Sigma, and for Ocelot to have ANY chance, Wily has to be eons stronger than Sigma, and Ocelot himself needs to be stronger than Liquid Snake by a fairly wide margin. Not a chance in hell.

Bowser by 56.28%

Soul’s Analysis

Third round action, brought to you by GameFAQs. This round begins with DA KOOPA KING, aka Bowser, squaring off against Revolver Ocelot. Bowser just came away from a whopping 78.07% against Sigma, while Ocelot surprised us with a 54.51% win over Dr. Wily. Poor Megaman villains, can't catch a break.

Well, the only way Bowser could lose is if Ocelot was ranked higher than Liquid Snake, who arguably is ranked too high to begin with. Do you believe that? I don't. Bowser will take this match rather easily. I'm expecting a 67.45% win.

Outback’s Analysis

Division Finals Already!?!?!?!

Yawn. Early on the upset pick of Ocelot over Bowser was discussed, but with Ocelot's lackluster performances against Nemesis and Wily combined with Bowser absolutely blowing away Pyramid Head and Sigma, I think those talks are over.

Bowser 66.67, Ocelot 33.33

Inviso’s Analysis

As you know, I ****ing hate Bowser. I think he’s one of the stupidest characters Nintendo has ever come up with; hence, Board 8 loves him ever so dearly. God, it sickens me that I’ll have to type that six letter word one more time before the end of this contest. Anyway, Ocelot owned Wily, a strong Megaman character. Bowser owned Sigma, a weaker Megaman character, but Bowser owned Sigma harder than Wily.

There’s a slight chance of Ocelot’s victory, but honestly, Gamefaqs is a site filled with rabid Nintendo fanboys. Bowser has this in the bag, once again, sadly, as Ocelot is just below Pyramid Head in coolness.

My Prediction: Bowser with 66.34%

I'm gonna go on to bed tonight (Memorial weekend on the boat-docks is the Earth's replica of the second level of hell when you're working), but I'm gonna go ahead and predict that Robotnik got 30% of the brackets. Considering the huge favorite Kuja was over the entire four-pack according to the BOP and Gurus and likely the actual bracket-stats, I think Robotnik's already-low 55.51% is gonna diminish to be almost half of that.
