If Dr. Robotnik doesn't do well against Ganondorf, Kuja has a possibly of being ranked lower than a non-Square RPG villain.

That's just crazy talk.

so........ it looks like Sin would have doubled Kuja. not many people saw that one coming, heh. it looks like i was wrong about Robotnik all along.

Sin>Kuja is certainly looking good at the moment. If Robotnik does win, I feel bad for the people who had Sin winning this four-pack--looks like they might have gotten screwed by one of the worst contest pics ever.

heh, a budddy of mine had Sin over Master Hand in this 4-pack and has been perfect with all of the other matches so far. it is possible that he lost his perfect bracket becasue of a picture of a fin.

At least I was correct about one thing: People DO care about Sin...even more than Kuja....nomination stats don't lie to you. X_x'

i do at least feel somewhat vindicated about that. i always stood by those nomination stats and it was one of the main reasons why i went with Sin over Robotnik in the first place.

Note of interest, since someone mentioned the 2-seeds flopping: in a 16x2 bracket, these guys would be 3s (Ridley and Wily, most likely) and 4s (Liquid and Kuja). So you can't really compare with the 16x4 brackets of old.

I think Robotnik is a little stronger than Wily, Megaman VS Sonic would be a very hard match to predict. But Robotnik is nlike Dr Wily playable in the most ppopular 3d Sonic game. That has to give him a boost Wily can't get.

There's no way I would believe OMFG Megaman did worse on Link in 2k4 than Sonic did in 2k3 on CLoud, yeah I know lets say he got SFF'D, even if none of the good Megaman games are exlusive on a Nintendo console. I like Megaman jsut as much as everyone else but he got SFF'D is for me a poor excuse for the MM fanboys to believe that he would win over Samus, Crono and Mario.

Of course Megaman VS Sonic better not happen anyway, because they are the two best characters in any of this contests, so I hope they won't face each other before the final.

Anyone else think that Diablo over Ganondorf is something other than silly?

The fact that Megaman has proved to be on par, and even a little better than Mario in a lot of situations is enough for me to take him over Sonic. Mario always beats Sonic at this website.

After completing MP2, I think it is rather obvious that the two are the same being. Although to know this, you would have either had to listen to Retro Studios earlier on or gotten 100% in Metroid Prime.

What I meant is that I don't assosciate the two. They would perform differently in a contest; they're not interchangeable.

Yeah. It seems to be more of a niche series nowadays (note: NOT CULT. I said niche.) Anyone have sales figures for MMX4-8?

Sonic has retained more of his old popularity than MM, which blows my mind considering how much his games suck.

It blows my mind considering how much YOUR FACE sucks. Ahem...so sorry.

Dr. Robotnik has done all but win now, and in impressive fashion thus far. In all likelyhood, MH will make the percentages several points closer and might even cut into the lead some...but it looks like Robo should be able to fend him off.

Wow. Just WOW. Unexpected'D

At least now I can say that picking Sin wasn't actually bad. I mean Robotnik is KILLING MH and would slaughter Kuja. Didn't saw that one coming.

Before seeing this, Kuja Vs. Robotnik, who would you choose? I garantee you that a lot would had pick Kuja > Robotnik.....

A lot of us DID pick Kuja>Robotnik. And I do believe that Kuja would be performing much more admirably than Hand is at this point. Figuring the Hand does what it did against Kuja, but to a MUCH lesser degree (given Robotnik has the Sonic day vote), he should get this under 60% before the end of the match, and I really find it hard to believe Sin would be that much stronger than Kuja.

I think you do have to believe that Sin >>>> Kuja. This is very unexpected, but FFX and its characters will look stronger than FF9 always, and well...it's a bit sad to learn this the hard way. (seeing a match like this)

In this four-pack I had Sin > Kuja so I can't really talk that much...

While it slightly decreases my chances of winning a prize, it makes me very happy to see Robotnik winning by this much. I'm an old-school Sonic fan, and I rather like Robotnik as a villian, as stupid as he is. The only thing that irks me is seeing how weak Kuja is. IMO, FFVI > FFIV > FFVII > FFVIII > FFIX > FFI > FFII > FFX > FFX-2, and although I never liked Kuja that much as a villian, it makes me sad to see how badly he'd lose to Sin, a giant whale in a very meh Final Fantasy.

If Robotnik = Wily, Kuja is weaker than Ultros at the moment. If Robotnik = Wily, and Kuja wants to be stronger than Ultros, Robotnik needs to receive 61.10% or less against Master Hand. It's very clear that Robotnik > Wily. I'm afraid to guess by how much, though.
