I have three ideas for future Spring contests:

-A supporting character contest. So, no main characters or main villains allowed in. Magus would probably be the favorite, but if the rest of the FFVII cast got in...I think he;d have some competition.

-A female character contest. Nearly all of our contestants would be new, but choosing Samus to win would be almost as obvious as choosing Sephiroth for this contest.

-A character "genre" contest. Examples:

-Platformer characters (Mario or MM would win)

-RPG characters (Cloud, unless you're a moron and consider the Zelda games to be RPGs)

-Fighting game characters (Ryu, most likely)

-Adventure game characters (adventure games are an extremely broad genre, and are often difficult to differentiate from RPGs, so this contest would never happen. Link'd win anyway.)

Of course, we could also go with more obscure genres.

-Shooter characters (...Master Chief?)

-Strategy game characters (...I dunno, Ramza? Kerrigan? Someone from Fire Emblem?...well, okay, maybe not.)

-...Err...party game characters? Yeah, I can't wait to see Parappa the Rapper taking the champion's belt home. ~_~

-Puzzle games, racing games, and sports games tend to not have any characters, so that's about everything.

To be fair, we still don't have a clue where Diablo's four-pack is at. We don't know if Bison/Ridley are stronger, weaker, or equal to Ken (2k2 or 2k3)/MB, and we don't know how far off Albedo is from KOS-MOS. As far as we know, Kefka could win 60-40...

...I'm taking Diablo though.

I for one would be taking Frog over Magus in a summer contest, and have been yearning for that match ever since I came to GameFAQs and found out it was actually accepted knowledge that Magus>Frog.
