There's nothing wrong with having your parents pay for your college tuition. Just remember to do the same thing for your own kid.

This makes me want to play D2 online again, but I lost my CD key :(. I even bought the expansion because I heard that the two CD keys work independently but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Personally my parents are offering to pay for a lot more of my college then I'm going to let them. I'd feel like a bum if I wasn't at least paying for over half of it.

Get a CD Key generator or something.

I've tried, no dice. Won't go online unless I luck out, and that requires a lot of reinstalling it.

unless of course you live at home and have your parents pay every penny of your tuition

Kids like that annoy me, especially when they're ungrateful little bastards.

Call me crazy, but is it just me, or are kids getting dumber and dumber? And on top of that, maybe it's just me, but kids seem to be growing brattier by the year.

I dunno, maybe we live in an age where parents can't just beat the crap out of their kids for doing something wrong, and instead have to spoonfeed them to death to be considered good parents. But that's another issue altogether. For now, we enjoy the fact that Diablo is about to kick some ass.

I'm not accepting a job unless it's paying over $50,000 a year.

Now now, don't be greedy. I spent five years in college to amass two bachelors degrees and a masters degree, and I am barely going to clear that out of the gate. Granted my GPA looked more like a blood-alcohol level of a sorority bimbo than it did a GPA of a good student, but that's merely a technicality.

Yeah not getting a job until you can get one paying that much is stupid, especially since you'll likely need work experience to get that much. An "if I can't make lots of money, I'll make no money at all!!" attitude in life isn't going to get you anywhere quick. Besides, work isn't that bad as long as you work somewhere where you can get along with your co-workers, which isn't to hard to do as long as you don't act like you're better then them for some reason.

Just to forewarn you, Deli work sucks... That's good pay, of course, but even at 7.40 I couldn't stand Deli work.

Diablo is really taking off now. Bison would be hard-pressed to come back unless he stops him soon.

And assuming Diablo finishes somewhere in the 52% range, how does this make Kefka/Diablo look?

You are right to a degree Leon. GPAs do mean nothing, however you need to get that first job in order to rid yourself of GPA hunting jobs, and in order to get your first job, you need to have an adequate GPA. I got lucky and found a company that cared more about work experience than GPA, so my 3.1 did not murder me in the job hunt, however it did keep me from even getting interviewed with any of the major players in public accounting. The moral of the story: try hard in college, because you will be pissed when nobody wants to hire you four years later.

The problem isn't necessarily the old people, it's the fact that everybody has high expectations of you and expects you to be everywhere at once. Unless you're in a fairly slow deli (and at that pay I'd bet you aren't, unless you're in a state with a high minimum wage) then it's just not worth the bs and pressure you're under. Just remember, when people want food they completely ignore the existance of anybody that isn't giving it to them or getting in their way... working at a deli makes you both.

I really wouldn't hold my breath for a sprite next round. They're generally reserved for this round and nowhere else. The best Kefka could manage is the FMV version of his angel form.

This match was over the second Diablo got it back over 800. He did it quickly, and it was a warning sign that he was about to get the after school vote.

And I'm surprised he's doing this well, but not that surprised. I've said it before, but Diablo 2 is more popular than Starcraft in America.

Diablo seems to be in a comfortable position right now looking at a nice victory over Bison. At this point, I'm still saying that he'll be the one emerging from the division over Kefka.

I likely would disagree with him. Then I would just look at the numbers for people in U.S. East and U.S. West in both games, compare them, find out I was right/wrong, and stop caring.

Wire to wire matches are supposed to be rare, if they weren't they wouldn't be exciting, and for a match to be like that they have to have relatively similar strengths in each portion of the day.
