Yup...it was after an hour had passed in the Ridley match that Diablo started to show his strength; after 2 and a half hours into the match his percentage barely moved.

It was after 3 hours into the Albedo match that Bison started to drop in strength.

Ryu actually held the lead in the early going against Sonic last year. I believe the only instance I remember a SFII character ever INCREASING with the day vote was Ryu last year vs. KOS-MOS.

I don't know why people are expecting Bison to drop like lead...even if his percentage against Albedo went down as the poll dragged on, there wasn't a point during the day where Bison was drawing under 2/3's of the vote.

The commentary does make a little sense. In SF 2, he's very limited excluding the Psycho Crusher. When they get rid of it Alpha on, his other moves gain more utility. The Head stomp and fake gain much more directional mobility and speed, as does the Scissor Kick gain reach and speed.

Well it looks like I'll have to skip my first few periods of class to finish this damned ancient history project. On the plus side that means I can half keep my eye on this match and see what happens.
