Contest Stats and Discussion - Part 130

Only one questionable match? Master Hand/Robotnik and
Kefka/Diablo(Bison...ha) are both questionable. Also, I would be
surprised to see a few people wreck on Ocelot (the great white hype).

Yeah but Master Hand and Kuja involved 2 unknown strengths. The
characters remaining are fairly well tiered, except the slight mystery
between Diablo and Kefka.

Since when is Robotnik "tried". Frankly, even if you could pick the
round 2 matches after round 1 was done I don't think you'd see a good %
getting that match right.

can kick myself even harder for picking Ridley, even if I like Bison
better and voted for the Crest King himself.

Master Hand is so going to beat Robotnik. I mean, the latter barely
beat Sin, but MH stomped the higher seeded Kuja pretty nicely.

I guess one way that may sweep the perfects away is Hand beating
Eggman, didn't think about that possibility. But there is still a good
chance of multiple perfect brackets.

At the rate we're going, if we have multiple perfects, there won't be
very many at all. Ocelot/Bowser, Kefka/Diablo, Robotnik/Master Hand are
all likely to take perfects with them.

Just an interesting side note: The only other 6 vs. 7 we've had in
contest history was Sephiroth/Mega Man 2002, which turned out to be a
pretty good match. Link to the Past is the only 6 seed ever to make it
to the divisional finals, and there has never been one make the Final
Four. Bison could make a little history if he can actually somehow
manage a win here.

My money's on Master Hand in that match. I just can't see Sin being that much better than Kuja.
And I don't see why we're saying Diablo's going to win if he makes it to the day vote. It's not like his day vote was vastly superior to his night vote. He gained like 1%, that's it.
---
He needs nominations, 61! Nominate Raiden (Metal Gear Solid 2) for SC2K5!

I think it's got more to do with the fact that Street Fighter has been
notoriously poor with the day vote than anything else, and the fact
that diabloii.net will likely have linked here by then.

Yeah. But from this point in his match against Albedo, Bison dropped over 4%
And Albedo doesn't seem like someone who'd get a lot of day vote if you know what I mean.

Does anyone have the 15 minute stats for LTTP/FFIII from whenever that

Gah, this is going the way of FFIII/LTTP, two really evenly matched
games quality wise (I won't even dare speak to what goes through the
mind of voters) only a lot faster. The Devil vs. That bastard in the
arcade games you used to love... Pretty close, but the Devil's gonna
take this one :(
