Yeah, by all means, Wesker should do better than this by the end of the

Well Nemesis > Wesker is pretty much COMPLETELY official now. And it even looks like Nemesis is greater by quite a margin.
This is about the time when I get to laugh at RPGuy for arguing so vehemently that Wesker was stronger than Nemesis and that Wily was going to beat Ocelot, both of which were claims based off of complete assumptions of the strength of new characters.
Of course I suck at actually making fun of people, but pointing it out is good enough for me. Don't worry, I still <3 you, Guy =p

Not saying it's bad in the least, heh; just sayin' it's lookin'
ugly...real ugly. As for the picture thing, let's wait for the rest of

have an effect when you finally get an in-game pic ass opposed to being

Kekfa is doing on slightly worse than what he was getting against
Mithos at this time. So right now Kefka is doing exactly as he should
be. We'll need to wait a few more hours to see if Kefka's percentage
falls faster or slower than it did against Mithos.

Something tells me that Diablo is going to waste Kefka no matter what picture he has.
Look at what has gone on ni this contest thusfar. Master Hand, a villain that suffers from the "I'm just the guy you fight at the end of the game because I have nothing better to do" disease, wound up beating Kuja.
Mother Brain, a villain that suffers from the "I'm just the guy you fight at the end of the game because I have nothing better to do" disease, did far better than expected against Lavos. Lavos, a villain that suffers from the "I'm just the guy you fight at the end of the game because I have nothing better to do" disease, turns around and does very well against Liquid Snake.
Sin, a villain that suffers from the "I'm just the guy you fight at the end of the game because I have nothing better to do" disease and owner of the worst picture in the contest, turned a 65-35 deficit against Robotnik into a respectable 2000 vote loss.
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but Diablo is another villain that "suffers" from the "I'm just the guy you fight at the end of the game because I have nothing better to do" disease. Now if all the aforementioned characters can do so well, I fail to see how Diablo, a character who I would pick to wipe the floor with any of these guys, could be weak in the very least.
Bison will be lucky to break 48%, though bear in mind that I'm basing this off of consolefreak's math.

End bosses are typically memorable. You save the best for last when you
maek a Villain. Look at Ganon... you only see him what, twice in OoT
before the final area. Just because they are barely seen doesn't mean
they're weak... if you can make a boss fight to remember then you've
made a boss to remember. that, and it always caps off a game's total
experience, so even if it's not spectacular the final fight is more
memorable than any other boss fight that wasn't. For this reason
"characters" like Lavos can do alright for themslves.

Actually it's 0.13% worse. It still comes down to who does batter in
the day vote. Wesker lost it to Luca Blight, so that's not exactly a
good thing for him.

.....Are you suggesting that villains you don't see until the very end naturally do better?
No, because I'm not an idiot. I'm suggesting that a villain isn't going to be weak just because they're little more than an end-boss or mid-Boss. These contests are becoming franchise voting affairs more than anything else, and thought games =/= characters, one would have to be a complete fool to disregard the fact that the game a character appears in is a huge factor. It isn't transitive by any means (I think Diablo would be stronger than Lavos for example, even though CT would beat D2 in a poll), but it's a factor that quite clearly exists.
Call it a hunch, but I think that Diablo is going to be an absolute powerhouse in the Ruin Division. I should have stuck with my initial instinct.

Lavos is way more than just the end boss fight--a huge amount of the game is focused on him.
And from what I've heard, it's similar with Diablo.

Well of course they're both mentioned throughout the game... but a name
alone isn't enough to put you into a character contest, let alone win
you a match. tends to be they need to do something, anf a final boss
fight is a memorable thing to be a part of. Look at the villains that
are known powerhouses and tell me that they don't have memorable final
bouts.

But then why is Wesker doing so much worse than Nemesis? It probably won't stay this way, but at the current percentage Wesker would lose to Ansem. Ocelot would have to bomb pretty badly for Wesker to come out on top.

Muahaha, even though I've missed 2 of 4 matches in the second round, my
Final 4 is still very possible, well, at least 3/4 of it is.
I got ONE battle in the Ruin division right. That's right, only the Kefka/Mithos one. Everything else was wrong, but it's good that he is winning against Wesker, though, I don't think Diablo will lose...
Go Seph, Bowser, and Ganondorf!

Err... Diablo in th top 20, rather. Had Bowser on my mind since, you
know, he's fairly low in the top 20 and would likely be beaten by
Diablo if he were that powerful.
Yeah, the idea is so insane it has me more confused than usual.

Yeah, the idea is so insane it has me more confused than usual.

Top 20 might have been pushing it a little, yes.
But I didn't say Bowser. I said Diablo.

Right, like my follow up said, the idea is so insane that I can't even
type what I mean. Top 20 is pushing it too far, and even top 30 is
rather hard to swallow at first glance.

Right. You're the guy that thought I was "on drugs" for not having Not
Robotnik winning two matches. I was pushing the number a bit, but the
idea is far from insane.

I have a feeling that Diablo is going to wreck Bison tomorrow and
ultimately beat the hell out of Kefka. But I do not think that he'll be
beating Ganon, or even getting that close to him.
But, wow, Kefka is doing about 11% better than I thought he would. That's... crazy.

Top 20 may not happen, but Top 30 is guaranteed at this point. There's
no doubt that Diablo is going to be putting up numbers large enough for
him to walk out of this division without much trouble, effectively
taking Ridley with him and raising him upward. It wouldn't be
surprising if Diablo hit 60%+ on everyone he faced from here to Ganon.
After seeing his run, I would love to actually see Kerrigan in a contest. I'd feel much more secure about taking her over a lot of people after seeing how well Diablo may perform.
And I'm pleased that Wesker got his ass kicked. I was tired of hearing about how he was going to beat Kefka. Turns out he's weaker than Mithos.

Kefka's percentage will undoubtedly drop during the day, as has been
said. I'll wait until I wake up tomorrow before I say anything about
that.
Kinda hard to believe that nearly as many people had Ocelot advancing to the divisional finals as did Liquid Snake.

Hi,I'm partystar. ^_^
Or maybe I'm Leonhart. That's for you to decide.

Diablo will not get over 55% on either M. Bison nor Kefka, but he'll get past them.

I'm very much questioning that. Diablo certainly has the potential to just do away with Kefka and Bison with absolute ease.

The potential, yes. But will he? I'm still not sold on the idea.
