Bison beats up dinosaur/Dragons and residents of hell on a daily basis.

Ask Hauzer and Red armiter.

It's not that Ridley's pic is bad, but Diablo's is cooler. Ridley also looks more faded...damn.

Diablo's would be cooler, if he actually looked like that. People throwing a fuss over Lettuce Kefka but worshipping Not!Diablo as their god... well, there's something wrong. Diablo is very photogenic... this is just not him.

While that is official Diablo art from Blizzard, it is not what most people would picture him as.

In fact, here is where the picture comes from.

in case you guys didn't know, Xenosaga never came out in Europe; I'm not saying it's going to shoot up in Albedo's favour or anything, but he's got to be completely unknown to the European crowd.

Albedo did get itself up to about 29.5% (which I assume is almost completely because of Europe not getting the game), but now Bison's been digging back in. Not lookin' good at all for Albedo.

Well Bison you screwed my bracket up a bit, but as long as you still lose to Kefka and Wily/Robotnik still go up as planned I think I can still make the top 50.

As for Albedo, he was weak. I never bought the Vyse/Ramirez = Kos-Mos/Albedo even when I did it and I said as much. Albedo is just an awful villian and he shares the spotlight with other people as thje villian in the series. In SoA it becomes clear it is Ramirez's show fairly quickly.

All pedos must die!!!

I called an absolute crushing last night, and Bison didn't disappoint me. It's a good thing I saw this happening before brackets locked up (despite the fact that I'm basically out of the running for prizes). It'll be cool if Bison is in the 20's, because it'd suck if Kuja was the only newbie that made a splash.

Oh, and for those who don't know yet (I'm 3 years late on this one myself) Firefly is of utmost kickass-ness.

But my silent fears have gripped me, long before I reach the phone, long before my tongue has tripped me. Must I always be alone?

What? No, it doesn't. Galcian appears to be the main villain for 75% of the game.

I completely agree with Leonhart on that. Galcian is shown to be the villain for a vast majority of the game.

And I'll say it again, I cannot see Albedo being under Luca, or losing to him.

Ramirez appears to be nothing but Galcian's right hand man until the very end of the game. Even going by your logic, it doesn't become Ramirez's "show" until...

Galcian's the one with the plans for world domination. Ramirez has no free will of his own, basically. He only does what he does because Galcian tells him to do it. That hardly seems to be the guy I'm supposed to kill at first glance.

Well we obviously have a bit of a different motivation. The thing is I see I had to get through him to get to Galcian and Galcian never proved himself a major threat in combat. Ramirez was his lethal weapon.

Galcian isn't the leader of the Imperial Armada for nothing, you know. Considering that's the group that's after you for the whole game, it kinda points to him as the main bad guy.
---

From: NewLib | Posted: 5/13/2005 10:51:17 AM | Message Detail
Yeah, I dont know what happens if he catches you, but i never fight him so I have no idea how strong he is. Maybe, it just matters if you right Ramirez at the docks and see how strong he is.

Okay, let me rephrase what I said. Albedo only really appears on the last 1/4 of the game and always shares the spotlight with like four other villians. Ramirez becomes your main adversary if you choose him to be early, or becomes the main bad guy late.

The "Swashbuckler" choice is to surrender to Ramirez at Nasr because Fina pretty much tells you this guy is going to knock you into next week if you try to take him on.

Well, that was added in Legends, so there was hardly any backstory for Ramirez in the original. Still, it takes you nearly the entire game to hear his full story anyway.

Ah okay I didnt know. Ive always had a good way of telling who the last guy is. I knew way beforehand who was the real last guy of FFX and others. The only game I really missed it with was FF7 because I was sure Hojo was going to be the last guy and it dissapointed me greatly that he wasnt.

Albedo is probably going to be the worst 3 seed since Gordon Freeman.

If Kefka=Bison, Albedo would be at 13.3% and would lose to Mithos with 40.57%.

XS for Kefka's 4 pack:
Kefka 22.75
Wesker 16.44
Mithos 16.39
Luca Blight 13.24

I still can't believe Wesker would be expected to beat Mithos with 50.15%.

Well, the seedings would've make a LOT more sense with Mithos and Luca swapped. I had a "???" moment on Kefka/Mithos, but the "PATHETIC LOSER" alarms went blaring when I saw Luca's name.

Albedo ?

Under 20% on Link? I'd say that's damn near a certainty for Lavos and somewhat likely for Robotnik. If he loses to Sin, it's almost guaranteed.

I'm gonna forgive you. Serious Sam is really forgettable, although his match pics were the bomb. Round 1 where he had this huge-ass gun, and then round 2 where he looked like the Rock.

Pardon me for stating the obvious, but if Ridley takes the early lead tomorrow, this match is as good as over.

So, how's the Diablo fansite spamming going to go, you think? What I know is, Diabloii.net always advertised D2's matches on Gamespy last year, so I'm kinda expecting them to pull a similar stunt if they get wind of the match. Either that, or they'll go "Ridley WHO?!?" and not care, not knowing the threat.

Alright, taking the extrapolated estimates a bit further...in relation to Kefka, using SC2K4 adjusted data on Kefka, Luca, Sephy, Bowser, L. Snake, and *gasp* CATS:

Kefka: 50.00%
Wesker: 36.15%
Mithos: 36.02%
Ramirez: 32.59%
Luca: 29.11%
Officer Tenpenny: 28.99%
CATS: 28.03%
Pyramid Head: 21.95%

ALL YOUR VOTES ARE BELONG TO CATS

Hmm. I think Mithos is at best barely better than Albedo... and there may even be some slight RPG SFF like what happened with Luca vs. Magus (I disagree with Luca's placement on the x-stats, there's no way Wesker is even with Mithos). But that's the absolute lowest I see him. Frankly, I'd be surprised if Mithos WAS better than Albedo, because ToS fans dislike Mithos, and Xenosaga is a bit bigger of a series than Symphonia is.

Bison's suddenly the favorite to win the division. Interesting. Though we'll have to see how Ridley vs. Diablo turns out first.
