Not only is Wesker doing poorly, but so far the vote total for this match is worse than Sigma/Andross. I'm glad I have Kefka>Wesker and Wily>Ocelot.

Wesker is pretty much screwed, but what it really comes down to is Luca vs. Mithos. If Luca could win that with 55% or more than Wesker could still win. But that's probably not true so Kefka wins.

so people are saying that they think that the 4% difference between Wesker on Luca vs. Kefka on Mithos means that Kefka over Wesker is a lock? Are you freaking kidding me? Luca would take care of Mithos pretty handily I would say, not to mention Wesker has been growing. I would say it's still going to be a close one. Just you wait and see.

the screwy x-stats have Luca at 70% against Luca. personally, i think Luca is a little better than those stats say, so if you're feeling really generous, you can put Luca at 65% against Kefka. Wesker is nowhere near that right now. as long as Wesker doesnn't make a huge daytime push, Kefka should be okay.

and somehow, Wesker's percentage has actually been dropping again. 0_o

Wesker peaked at 59.75% about 30 minutes ago and he's already down to 59.35%. what the heck?

So, Wesker's not beating Kefka (duh). Gotta love that Ulti quote about the bandwagon, ankles, etc. I suggest we all save it to shove it in the fanboys' faces. Can't wait to see the lower half of the division, to see if a SSBM-like run is at all possible for Kefka. Of course, we'll only have real answers with Bison/whoever, unless Ridley/Diablo ends up being a very easy win for either, in which case the winner would become the automatic favorite. (Yeah, kinda like how Wind Waker looked to be a lock for the Final 4 after round 1. Sue me, everybody makes mistakes.)

This could play out similarly to the Kefka/Mithos match. That one featured fairly stable percentages (2 to 1 for Kefka) throughout the day until late afternoon/night period where the leader dropped a significant %. The circumstances are the same; weak character vs. relative unknown.

Of couse, this might be just wishful thinking on my part since I want Wesker to lose next round.

I wouldn't worry too much about Ocelot yet. If this match draws a painfully low number of votes, it may even suggest that Nemesis is stronger than Wesker. Plus, we still have no clue how weak Ultros truly was.

Well working with the stats again. Assuming Wesker = Nemesis (I dont think Nemesis can be much higher), and Wesker getting 60% on Luca. That puts Nemesis right above SAM FISHER. This puts Ocelot right below JAK.
