Can we agree Liquid having Snake in his name did him wonders now, at least?

Considering he holds about the same proportion to Solid Snake as Shadow holds to Sonic (by the 2003 stats, at least), that was pretty much a given.

Personally, I think Wily escapes tomorrow by the skin of his rather large rear (53%ish or less), and then goes on to do the exact opposite to Ocelot (pull in 47-50%). Why? Because I think all of these characters are ultimately fodder. If it happens, such that they all fall within a 60/40 of eachother, it means that they are ALL either a) strong, b) mid-tier or c) weak bastards (TM).

I agree with you, and that was a good post. Most of the characters in this field are weak bastards and/or varying levels of rat.

I got something to think about - If somehow tomorrow's match is close (i.e. winner with less than 55% or so), would that be an indication that Wily is weaker than expected, Ultros is stronger than expected, or a little of both? I'm inclined to think it may be Ultros being stronger than expected. After all, he is Final Fantasy, and one of the most liked FFs on GameFAQs.

This board has a habit of thinking Magus is incredibly deep and is a villain, both of which could not be more wrong. I actually like Magus, but you probably couldn't notice it because I bring him down in comparison to what people make him out to be. Unfortunate, but what can you do? =|
