Comments: We continue this tourney with another laugher match to continue to warm things up and whet the appetites of the masses for the more alluring Round 1 Showdowns. Capcom's #2 best baddie vs a really overmatched overseeded nobody of an ape.

Today I shall mouth off about monkeys in games. They are not worth a banana peel in these tourneys. We all know about DK and his struggles here, and then there is Aiai or whatever his name is. And now there is Andross. Another monkey...another loss. Could it be any more boring..??? (Yes, but Sephy aint up yet...)

Bottom line is...who actually nominated this goof? Nintendo phone reps? Kiddies? Peeps who still think the Super Nintendo is the latest and greatest and the FX Chip the most powerful piece of computing technology since the Tandy PC? I aint too sure...so I asked my colleague, Dr. Quack, who published a book on Duke Nukem which hit the bestseller lists at Amazon and EB Games called "Forever Forgotten...The Duke Nukem Story"

Andross is pretty obscure, and Star Fox is 2nd tier at best in the Nintendite lineup these days...so a runaway win for the evil alphabet guy should be assumed. Or is it conjectured? Hypothesized? Hmmm...may have to ask Chichiri for his input...

Badass pic... seeing that has me eagerly awaiting the Mega Man X Collection... even though I just finished beating X1-X4 this month. I'll play them all over again. I play all the boss fights X-Buster only repeatedly just to give myself a challenge.

Graduation: April 30, 2005 "There are only 10 kinds of people in this world, those that read binary and those that don't."

My most controversial matches is the Diablo/Ridley match-up. To be honest with ya'll, I went with Diablo basically off of two facts:

1) I've played, and own, all three of the current Diablo games (DI, DII, DII:LoD) and am familiar with the Diablo world.
2) Until today, I'd never heard of Sigma (but now I know from the Metroid game).

Going off of what I've heard today, I think that match will be strickly 50-50. Sigma being from Metroid has the Samus crew to help, but Diablo has the Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo fans to back him. Both characters seem to have a strong fanbase, so it's anybody's game.

Anyone else care to discuss?
