Considering that four characters come from GTA:SA, FF3/6, the SSB/M series, and the Street fighter series (four of the more loved games here), there's little reason for me to believe that the joke-votes are still being considered on anybody else besides CATS. I think it's pure votes based on THEM, not the joke they supposedly portray.

So Master Hand = CATS = Ultros? I don't buy it in the least bit; I don't see what's so hard with acknowledging that maybe, just maybe, MH doesn't attract the joke-votes like you say it does (and if it doesn't, it doesn't rely on them like CATS). MH doesn't even have a pic to flash off the shiny white glove; it's just five names up there in a poll where they have very little in common (except Bison and MH being in fighting games...and MH is ahead, for what it's worth).

For Epona, I guess I was thinkin' of somebody else; I thought for sure it was you who reluctantly agreed with it though, and I know there was a short discussion on whether Epona could take Vyse or not.

Hopefully. I've rewritten the code for the new site, and set things up with a cron job in Linux this time.

Previously, it updated the results everytime someone refreshed the page. No longer the case; now it'll update every 5 minutes. Except for 11:45pm-12:15am (GameFAQs time) when it will update every minute.

That's the plan at least. Since there hasn't been a poll yet, there's been no testing. Thus there is a high probability of something going wrong.

For the last Spring Contest, he skipped from 1575 to 1601. Pollids 1598 to 1600 were never used.

I'm aware of that. If you try voting in polls 1989 you get a message saying it's not accepting votes yet. If you try voting in polls 2000 or 2001 you can a message saying the poll doesn't exist. This would make 1989 the most likely choice for the next poll.

Considering Pyramid Head's pic is totally unrecognizable, Pyramid Head is doing a great job so far. PH clearly has a decent-sized Silent Hill fanbase behind him/her/it, and is not a complete joke. It should have a percent or two more than it has, though. :[

I think M. Bison is a good risk. And as said earlier, according to Slowflake's strategy of going with the guy more likely to get there, he's safer in a sense than Diablo/Ridley.

I never truly considered taking M. Bison over Diablo in my own bracket, but I always thought it was very possible.

Robutt < Wily
Sin >>> Ultros

Basically, the better Ultros does against Wily (and I truly think that he'll break 45% on him), the more likely it is that Sin will drop Robutt. I have no proof of any of this, mind you; just a hunch.

I agree with this, but I would expect Robotnik to be stronger than Wily. Robotnik is more involved in the Sonic games, what with him being the boss all the time. Also I think he's got "loser" appeal.
