If Dr. Robotnik is equal to either Tails or Wario, then he's still right on par with Yuna 2k3 (maybe a lil' stronger or weaker; I think Tails is just under her and Wario is just over)...does anybody think that Sin can be equal to or stronger than Yuna 2k3?

I'd put Dr. Robotnik over Wario, but I don't think he could take Tails. Yes, the extrapolated rankings say otherwise, but the difference between Wario and Tails isn't huge, and there's easily enough SFF between Robotnik and Tails for the two-tailed fox to come home the winner.

that's a good point about Wario being even with Yuna. i had forgotten about it. i really doubt Sin would beat Yuna. i would guess Yuna would take that one 60/40. the only problem with that is that even though Wario and Robotnik remind me of eash other, i still think Wario would beat him 60/40, seeing how he is the king of goofy-looking villains. >_>

I would agree with this, though I think many wouldn't.

I do agree with those that say Robotnik is like Wario--fat an unappealing. However, I do think that he has more appeal than Wario. Robotnik is kind of "cute"; he's got a "loser appeal" of a sort. Plus, he is a lot more prominent in the Sonic series than Wario is in the Mario Bros. series; Wario is only a major character in spin-offs and his own games.

I am leery about Robotnik vs. Sin--I could see Sin taking that. I'm going to put Robotnik as the winner though, because for the standards of this contest, Wario is not a weakling. Sin might have surprising strength; but I think Robotnik won't be fodder either. He should have reasonable popularity.

For the record, Aeris' role in KH was bigger than you seem to believe. She plays almost as much of a role as Squall in guiding Sora through the early stages of the game, and continues to give advice and advance the story.

I never said she didn't do anything. I just said she didn't do anything worth mentioning, which is true. She's just there to give advice. Big deal.

I had no problems with Yuna, other than the horrible voice acting... and the fact that everyone in the game seemed to be saying "Yuna is strong" when it was obvious that her character was anything but strong. Now, I could deal with that if somewhere in the game, Yuna had some kind of big crisis over what a fraud she was, but that never seemed to happen, at least not to the extent that I was expecting.

And keep in mind, I'm looking at Yuna's character purely in an objective sense. Some of the characters that are the best characters from an objective point of view are also the most hated, as Tidus shows.
