The biggest blowout will probably be Bowser/Pyramid Head. Liquid/Tenpenny will also be a huge blowout, but not as big as Bowser/Pyramid or Ganon/Giygas.

Totally agree... FFIX kicked ass, and Zidane is one of the most underappreciated protagonists around here.

And I don't think Liquid/Tenpenny will be a big blowout, simply because GTA has too much support to get the 15-20% I am expecting out of Ramirez and Giygas. I think doubling TenPenny would be the absolutely ceiling for Liquid, with 60/40 much more in the ballpark.

If B8 was an actual place, every now and then someone would hold up a large poster of LUEshi and then be escorted out of the building by CJayC-C Bar

If it was just the names "Diablo" and "Ridley" on the poll, there's no way in hell he'd win. Unless you scan him during his battle in Prime (and scanning him is optional), he's never even named in-game.

IIRC, ALL the main bosses were named, even if it was only by their health bar while you fight them. Ridley's also referred to in some of the other scans, but you're likely to miss them if you're the type that wouldn't scan Ridley anyway.

Only Sephiroth/Ramirez and Ganondorf/Giygas have potential for such huge blow-outs, methinks...and they'll probably be pretty close, too; Bowser SFF'd Ness who had SSB and SSBM on his side...what keeps Ganondorf from SFF'ing Giygas who hasn't had SSB or SSBM on his side? Of course, that point is about as important as if Mario SFF'd Captain Olimar or not...but it should definitely bring the spread to Cloud/Vyse percents. I suspect Sephiroth will beat Ramirez a lil' worse than Cloud/Vyse was, so I'll give him the biggest blow-out of the contest: 82.5% in Sephy's favor.

I'm sorry, but there is too much babbling about matches I don't care about in this topic because I have already locked my picks on those.

...Except for Sin Vs. Robotnik and the follow-up match from that one.

I chose Sin over Robotnik because the Sonic series is not that strong in this contest. Sonic seems to not even be top 12 worthy in the character battles anymore and FFX already triumphed over anything Sonic when Tidus toppled Shadow.

Now, I have never participated in one of these topics before, so excuse any ignorance that I have already shown. Continuing...

I think picking Sin over Kuja is a lot easier than going either way if it were to be Robotnik Vs. Kuja, meaning my first round pick may be just serving as a security blanket for the second round. But if that security blanket unravels in the first round, I'm hurting come round 2.

So, I have Sin over Kuja for the simple fact that FFX has had two potential third-rounders for two years now. FFIX had Vivi one year who likely filled out as much potential as she ever will in defeating DK.

Sephiroth is really, really close to Cloud. I think it's unreasonable to think any villains in this contest (save Liquid; he's about the same distance away as Seph) are as close to their heroes as Sephiroth is.

Given that Sephiroth is weaker than Cloud, and Ramirez should be weaker than Vyse - although I wouldn't suspect by very much - then what you projected shouldn't be to bad.

The fact that Ramirez cannot even get 25% brings extreme amounts of pain to my heart. ;_;

CATS couldn't break 20% on Ryu, and Boswer's just a touch weaker than him (though I'd still give him the win). Pyramid Head would have to be a good bit weaker than CATS to break the distance Cloud made with Vyse (which was an 81-19 affair, give or take a lil'), and I find it likely that both Sephy/Ramirez and Ganon/Giygas will have bigger differences than that, or at least equal ones...

...so Pyramid Head would be THAT much weaker than CATS?

There's no telling what Ganon will do to Giygas though; I was conservative with my guess...but I'll say it again: if Bowser could SFF Ness pretty hard when he was the star of a cult game and had SSB and SSBM on his side, imagine what damage Ganondorf could SFF Giygas with when he was merely the villain of Ness's game and has neither SSB or SSBM on his side. Even if PH does bomb harder than I expect (though I feel good about saying PH > Guybrush), Ganon/Giygas could explode in terms of the spread between them.
