If enough people nominated "Goomba", then we're gettin "Goomba". CJayC has never said that random enemies can't be accepted.

I doubt any random enemies will make it in, but that's just because they won't be nominated enough. If Angry Sun isn't in the contest, it'll either be because CJayC says "C'mon, guys, one joke entry is enough" or because there weren't enough noms.

I'm not sure where you're getting this "generic enemies aren't allowed" thing from, slow.

What does a Goomba have to be a character that the mass carrier doesn't? I haven't played Starcraft, but I would think they're quite analogous.

Finally, I hear a piece of evidence on why we'll CJayC will likely not allow generic enemies...actually, I could still argue that CJayC would just DQ any character that's clearly a joke. (plus, "Mass Carriers" automatically wouldn't qualify as it's plural) No matter what, though, due to split votes I'll be shocked to see any generic enemy make it in. (i.e. Goomba + Shy Guy + Koopa + Big Boo) It will take a miracle to see Angry Sun, too, but at least that enemy's singular. :P

After being a lazy bastard with a busy life these past few months, I've finally decided to finish up the 2004 characters on MMX's site. Ratchet is done (http://www.freewebs.com/mmxcalibur/ratchet.htm), and I did manage to squeak out Ryu and KOS-MOS a few weeks back. Dunno if anyone bothered looking at those.

As for music, unless I have it readily available, I'm leaving it up to MMX itself. Music is by far what takes the longest, and I'm more interested in getting these last few bios out of the way before the next contest starts.

Seriously though people (mostly HM), you think Liquid Snake is going to jump up enough to overtake Kefka in nominations when he has to compete with Revolver Ocelot, Psycho Mantis, Sniper Wolf and so many others? As it is he already had fewer noms than Kefka last year, and now the Metal gear fans will have more villains from which to choose... oh, and Twin Snakes isn't as fresh, either. I just don't tihnk Liquid is gonna take a one seed over Kefka.
