With that in mind, I answer "no".

And I can't believe anyone mentioned that yet: Villain contest = Kefka going further = Kefka going to round 3 = KEFKA SPRITE!!! Man, this is going to rule. Except for the part where dubious entries are our only chance to see Sephiroth dip under 65%.

To comment on the whole Mario/Magus fiasco, I'll say this: Each criteria taken individually makes sense, but put them all together and you get a cluster**** of nonsense. I mean, Mario being eligible is understandable. Magus being uneligible is understandable. Both at the same time is not. Kinda like how french fries rule, spaghetti sauce rules, but italian poutine tastes awful.

I got a good question: we're undoubtedly going to try to compare many of the villains to a true character-contest atmosphere...so what should our measuring stick be? Sephiroth has been proven to screw numbers up many times, Bowser and Ganondorf both got SFF'd, Wario was behind the controversial Shadow...and then there's CATS if he's in the contest again.

I believe there will be 32 characters, as well. There will be a ridiculous amount of obscure/minor/borderline-acceptable characters if there's 64 of them.

Asking again: anyone with enough Legacy of Kain knowledge to say who's more popular out of Raziel or Kain? I'd guess Raziel, naturally, but I haven't really played those games.

Oh, and it's funny how you guys suddenly started talking about measuring sticks, as I was about to bring that up. Anyway, let's hope Wario makes it in, and faces someone we can measure.
