Seymour and Seifer... I dunno. I see them being around Albedo's level somehow. They almost made the list.

And as far as Kefka/Wario, I disagree with you. Due to Shadow's overperformance, Wario is overestimated in the 2k3 stats, and due to SFF, Kefka is underestimated. I actually think that match would be pretty close, and I'd pick Kefka.

I'd have to disagree with you there. I'd pick Kuja and Kefka over both of em. Sometime, FFVIII's lack of popularity here is going to have to make an impact on how well its characters do, and I say that'll start with Seifer. And Seymour... I'm not even sure he'll make it. It could be Sin over him, or even Yu Yevon. FFX votes'll be spilt. And anyway, while I like Seymour, many FF fans seem to disagree.

C'mon now. FFX and FFVII are more popular than FFVIII by a large amount. Even FFIX may have an edge there. And FFVIII is really convulated in the villain area too. Even on GameFAQs, FFVIII is the black sheep of the series... And I'm not sure if Seifer has the devoted fanbase that Squall has.

You can't definitively state that FFX is more popular than FFVIII. You especially can't say that Tidus is more popular than Squall.

If Tidus:Seymour :: Squall:Seifer, then I'd pick Seifer. However, I think that Seifer is closer to Squall than Seymour to Tidus.

I personally don't know, Tidus is just so different in every match. Imagine how an encounter with Seph could **** the stats.

Anyway, Seifer beating Seymour or not isn't the issue here. He does have a chance, but I'm convinced Kuja and Kefka would have no chance against either.

I doubt Sin/Yu will make it over Seymour, or Ultemecia will make it over Seifer. I think that Seifer/Seymour will suffer in seeding, though, and if nominations go in a weird fashion, we could see one or both of the S gang get either cut out of the tournament by company limit/undernomination.

And as far as FF8 and FF9... I'd still argue that they're even, or close to it. Hmm.

And I just can't see Winnie the Pedophile winning that fourpack. He'll do well, but... Have you ever seen Seymour fans? People seem to either tolerate him or dislike him, rather than actually like his character much.

I can't see Seymour being better, or even really that close, than 2k3 Yuna. And I think at least one of the Seifer/Kuja/Kefka trio could match Yuna.

I don't know about that. Ozzie's a really, really big fan favourite with the CT fans. It's like Gilgamesh being the most popular character in FF V, hands down. Ozzie might not be the top CT villain in the stats, but he would likely be close to it.

True. But the whole "big fan favorite thing" doesn't really seem to hold up as much in contests. Auron is a big fan favorite and a major character in FFX, but a Tidus vs. Auron match would be up in the air. CT fans largely don't care about Crono and love Magus, but yet Crono won that match 70-30.

i dont think kuja will do as good as vivi. Vivi seems to be a fan favorite out of ff9. It was funny at the Dear Friends FF concert in chicago, when Vivi showed up on the screen he got the loudest cheer. So what i am saying is Kuja doesnt equal Vivi in Strength contest wise.
