But anyway, ahem, yes, Sephiroth kicked Mario’s ass. I can see that I worded my post poorly…Sephiroth got about 62% of the vote against Mario. Cloud got about 66% of the vote against Sonic. Assuming Cloud ~ = Sephiroth in performance when they’re not against each other, give or take a few percent, means Mario ~ Sonic. Now, this all makes some reasonable amount of sense. But, if we’re assuming Shadow ~ = Sonic (which makes some sense considering Shadow’s performance) then Shadow ~ = Mario and Shadow ~ = Crono, as well. really don't know where all this SMW is the worst Mario is coming from.
Personally, it's my second favorite, behind Mario 64, which was
completely robbed in this contest unforutnately, but that's something
else entirely. Super Mario World was a great game, and it had Yoshi!!!
Also, a lot of people might have this game by default as it was
packaged with the Super Nintendo, also it was just, or recently really,
released for gameboy advance. This is kind of old, but look how the two
did against Cloud. Granted Mario was last year, but he beat Cloud,
whereas Sonic struggled with 30 and barely beat Aeris. Now, I know

No, it's not a hardness scale for anyone who may have wondered... though thinking about it... it does seem odd that the most valuable stones also happen to be some of the hardest. Diamond of course would be tier one all on its own if it were on a hardness scale given that it is well... the basis of the whole system. And besides, Granite would be more than one tier above limestone if it were hardness. smitelf: I'd rather laugh about you making tiers now than laugh about "how wrong I was" later. If I'm wrong later that's fine, but there's no need for me to act like I know ALL the answers before it happens (I'll wait until it does to act like I knew all the answers).
