Big thanks to Ange and his team of bracket-entering-dudes for getting us all up to date. http://thengamer.com/guru/ - clicking your name on the ranks will display your personal bracket page complete with notifications for all your risky picks and mistakes. feel free to share that link around on the boards or even put it in your sig if you want to look reeeeeeeeally cool this season - speaking of which, now is the time to check your bracket on the site and make sure it lines up with your official entry. sometimes we make mistakes entering it, sometimes you made a mistake posting it, neither is a problem as long as we take care of it early - did you post your bracket but we missed you and it's still not on the site? hopefully that didn't happen but if so, sorry, let us know! --- Despite 200 contestants this season we're already down to only 9 perfect brackets remaining! 1. PSI_NESS - 12 2. Menji - 12 3. haloiscoolisbak - 12 4. Stripey/INCEPTlON - 12 5. Eddv - 12 6. junglebob - 12 7. ffmasterjose - 12 8. Fenny - 12 9. cyko - 12 And by the end of today that number will be even lower- 7 picked Galaxy 2 while jose and Menji decided to go with the bold Mass Effect 1 upset. The overall numbers for today's matches came out to Super Mario Galaxy 2 - 157 (79.70%) Mass Effect - 40 (20.30%) Halo 1 - 159 (80.71%) Minecraft - 38 (19.29%) Our hivemind "cookie cutter bracket" is also not perfect by the way, the one match we've messed up so far is Persona 3 - 162 (82.23%) Dragon Quest VIII - 35 (17.77%) All in all there was plenty we disagreed with this season; the median bracket has 17 match results that don't fall in line with the Guru consensus, making this the most unpredictable 1v1 bracket in Guru history (topping even Game of the Decade). Our least risky bracket maker is pirate who picked only Pokemon > FF7 and San Andreas > Chrono Cross, while our King of Risks is Wizardsfan with this masterpiece: http://thengamer.com/guru/bracket.php?id=197 The median tiebreaker this year came to 3.8 million votes which will I believe still come up well short of the actual total, but I'm sure Luster will arrive shortly to provide much more detail on that matter. Over the first 12 matches of this contest, we are currently averaging 36296 votes. Maintaining this average for the rest of the contest would lead to a projected total of 4609592 votes during the entire contest. This does not adjust for increased vote totals in the later rounds, especially considering that we will have site alerts for the matches near the end of the contest. didn't see my name on the list not that i'm upset (understandable due to how many entered) ..... i'm doing pretty good so far with 10 points, i was surprised with kingdom hearts 2 beating metal gear solid 4, and windwaker beating x/y >.< ......and so far i'm losing the minecraft/halo battle, the final fantasy 7/journey battle, but at least for the moment the super mario galaxy 2/mass effect battle is tied (have mass effect for the win) ..... this is my first time in a contest of this nature, so i hope i do well enough to win something :D .... best of luck to the rest of you as well :D --- 2DS FC: 0662-6485-2561 /X1-IGN:Dan-TSV:0102/OR-IGN:Cyrus-Living Dex/Y-IGN:Kylo/X2-IGN:Sabine ... Sorry, on PramTheOracle's list, in Round 3 of Skyrim VS Metroid Prime, you had Skyrim winning, but my bracket had Metroid Prime winning that match and entering round 4. Starting from the last match and working backwards, the two brackets that have the most same picks are Luster Soldier and Yesmar. They don't differ after Super Metroid vs Half-Life 2. |

The 2 most equal brackets are tennisboy's and MarioSuperstar's. FFX over CT and Mass Effect over SMG2 are the only differences.
