Post your tiebreaker first, it often disappears after lockdown. Welcome to the Guru Contest for this very exciting 2015 BGE bracket! Normally we try to launch this right around bracket lockdown time, but with four matches happening every day we're going to try to get everything entered a little sooner this year. If you've never played before the Guru is a competition open to everyone on B8, just post your bracket in this topic and we'll get it uploaded to the website which will track everyone's progress automatically from now through Christmas when a winner is raised to everlasting fortune and fame. Before you enter though just keep in mind the two parts of the Guru Contract: 1. you must congratulate the winner in your board signature and keep that up for two weeks 2. you will owe one of your nominations for the next Contest to the winner, who gets to pick any entrant of their choice for us all to support If that sounds good then it's bracket posting time! There's two methods to getting your entry in this year Old fashioned way - type in all your winning picks by hand, remember to leave spaces between R1/R2 etc and don't forget that tiebreaker High Tech way - you can post a link to your bracket directly using the source code, if you want to save yourself some typing you can try to follow these steps 1. http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/bge20_entry In Chrome you can right click and select “View Page Source” 2. Do a search for <table class="bracket"> (should be around line 180), highlight from there to the end of the bracket aka <th colspan="4">Start Again</th> (around line 1038) and copy 3. Go to https://jsfiddle.net/ and paste into the box titled HTML 4. Click Run, then click Save, your url bar will update with a unique link. 6. Paste that link in here. Doing that will get us only your bracket though so post your TB manually alongside the link. Okay that should cover it, good luck everyone! --- Clarification 1- the Guru should be identical to your "official" prize-winning (if you're eligible) bracket, not what you "meant to put." Clarification 2- if you're still not sure about some picks, DON'T POST YOUR BRACKET YET! You'll have 48 hours after lockdown to get it entered; we'd rather have you submit a little late versus having 13 corrections for us to make on the website later. Actually, you could detect which game was picked by looking at the class name in the source code. For a bracket with Ocarina of Time winning the entire thing, the source code would look like this: <span id="b127-2" class="picked"><a onclick="pick( 127, 65)">Zelda: Ocarina of Time</a></span><br> If the class name says "picked", it means you picked the game to win the contest (or move onto the next round for the earlier rounds). transience posted... just a note - those links don't show the division winners. you can figure it out from the bottom bracket - is that too confusing for the way you enter data? If it's the same as it's been in the past, we manually enter them using those bubble option things. "click this circle for game X or that circle for game Y".
