SB canceled the official site-wide Battle Bracket for this year's Contest, so Wigs and I are launching a B8 side contest to replace it. I'm happy to announce that this year's Battle Champ will win a video game of their choice (for $5 on steam) courtesy of legendary B8er Colegreen, so there's more than just pride on the line this season! The contest will work just like it did in the past- for each match you can choose either the higher seeded game, the lower seed, or else BANK all the points you've earned up till then if the result is close and you don't want to take the risk. Any match you don't send in a pick for will count as a BANK. You build up a larger point total depending on the size of your winning streak so you can't afford to bank too often! We're now accepting picks all the way through the end of Round One, so enter as many of these matches as you want. Do that by copying the text below and pasting it in to a new post with only your picks, so the end result will look like this Chrono Trigger Dragon Quest VIII BANK Half-Life Portal After that initial post you can change any of your choices at any time (up until the match goes live of course) just by posting in this thread with something like "Actually switch me to Metal Gear Solid 4 instead of Kingdom Hearts now that I've seen the match pics, thanks!"
