A big round of applause for Angie, Menji, Spike, (and me!), our tireless workers who entered 90% of the brackets this season. (And a golf clap for Wigs, fett, and ngirl, who didn't complete the pages they were assigned but did enter SOME brackets.) All in all we gathered an astounding 250+ entrants for this season- easily a new Guru record!

As for the features on the site, you're probably used to most of them by now, but here's a brief overview in case you want to refresh.

* click any user's name anywhere on the site to see their full bracket

* you can re-sort the main page by score (default), TB, risks, their pick in the current match, Dead/Alive status, or even alphabetically by username- just click the headers

* currently "Today's Pick" is pointing to Match 12, Okami vs NMH. if you'd rather see everyone's pick for the next match, change the dropdown to "13" and hit the button- now you see all the picks for ToS vs RE5!

* any pick anywhere on the site that goes against the Guru Cookie is rewarded with red text

* speaking of which, the Guru Cookie is a bracket that makes the most "popular" choice for every matchup, based on all 250+ brackets. it's listed in the rankings as though it's an actual person, but that's just for fun (it doesn't actually cost you a position on the ranks if you're currently behind it)

But surely the most popular feature of all are those Guru Stats! You can check them at any time by clicking "Matchup Stats" on top, which takes you to

Nooooo, my great streak has come to an end! Spent the last two weeks at #2 in the Guru and peaked at #26 on the site, but here's where my Sunshine pick dooms me. (Worse is I was the only one in the top 14 to take it!) Here's the full breakdown for today:

Super Mario Sunshine - 107 (41.96%)
Halo 1 - 107 (41.96%)
Halo 3 - 36 (14.12%)
Ninja Gaiden - 5 (1.96%)

The Sunshine pick is officially listed as the "cookie choice" for the match, though as you see it could have gone either way.

Hey I discovered some errors in my bracket:

I had Civilization IV not Persona 3.

I also think something might wrong with how my bracket is being scored. Gamefaqs has my bracket at 57 as of Halo over Halo 3. But Guru says 60. Now I found that one error in Civ IV instead of Persona, but that still leaves 2 mystery points. I checked my bracket like three times, and the CIV IV one is the only error I could find.

Advokaiser, therobbieg, Turnsniper and GrapefruitKing are the closest bracket to yours. Your MM pick in round 4 is unique among these. I'd estimate that the round 3 matches in the Northwest Division are when 3 of these brackets will start to be eliminated.
