Gimmick post after the 00:20 update:

Fire Emblem's percentage continues to slip. This is a sign that Silent Hill will take the lead in the middle of the night, and will eventually win this match. This is very bad news for the majority's brackets, in my opinion.

stingers: Who cares about vote gaining, I care about my oracle picks =P Lower percentages for FE = good. If it gets to 53-54% that'll be justtttttttt fine. 'Cept it probably won't dip any lower than 57.

It might if the day vote favours SH. Historically speaking, FE has over a 2000 vote lead, which I believe is the biggest comeback in history (and should be over 3000 within another hour, which is the biggest turnaround in votes I can think of). However, historically speaking plenty of matches open 55-45 during the night, and end up 51-49 (even when in some cases the winner was still gaining votes).

To my knowledge, no successful ones, although some did manage to take the lead or come close enough so that it could have happened.

But Fire Emblem winning an update with 97 votes doesn't justify ringing the alarm-bells. Heck, in Mario vs Crono II and III, a 97+ update was a very positive thing. Silent Hill would need to turn this around to +97 in it's favor, which takes time it doesn't have to spare.

I believe the record is 2800... either way, this match has been over since the first 30 minutes. it would be unprecedented for FE to lose at this point.

Had the poll started at its usual time, these early hours would have been closer and we'd all be excited right now. Eventually, Fire Emblem would steamroll Silent Hill with the day vote, but at least we'd have had some excitement in the early hours.

Well, it's mostly Europe's vote for the next 7 hours or so, and I can guarantee Silent Hill will win that. To what degree it will help is another matter, though.

Well im from Europe and i voted for FE i think Europe players will vote more for FE after the GBA Game was realesed not that long ago.

'Tis true. I'm also European and know far more people who will vote Fire Emblem than Silent Hill. Although that isn't scientific evidence it could be an indication. If this were two years ago however, Silent Hill would own the European vote. But now, not so much.

Well I had SH beating FE... damn... it's still possible. FE only has a 5,000 vote lead with 27000 vs. 21000. However, judging by the previous matches, this is only around half of the total vote. We still have another 50000 entries to count.
