-- Beats the crap out of annoying men, elderly women, bald men, hippies, rival gangsters, political radicals, and basically whoever else he runs into (usually with a baseball bat).
-- Rides a bicycle.
-- Has a posse and travels with his gang backing him up; his gang, incidentally, is heavily armed.
-- Uses firearms, explosive devices and other assorted weaponry.
-- Has a sister who handles the more business-oriented aspects of his life.
-- Befriends struggling musicians, helping them to advance their careers.
-- Is forced to wander around in the desert for a while.
-- Gambles.
-- Hangs around with an Asian guy who has control over his entire community.
-- Associates with a super-genius glasses-wearing techno-dork.
-- Has no problem attracting women.
-- Has to fight off upwards of six cops; clashes prominently with a high-ranking police officer.
-- Eats pizza and hamburgers to keep his strength up.
-- Returns to his home very late in the game; the place pretty much goes to hell.
-- Really shouldn't have placed too much trust in that fat friend of his.

Those of you who have followed along with me to this point have probably already realized that THEY'RE THE SAME DAMN PERSON.

Honestly, no wonder so many people like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas -- it swipes everything it can think of from EarthBound!

Carl Johnson is nothing more than a black palette-swap of Ness, pulled on us ten years after the fact by a company that thought we wouldn't catch it; obviously, the voters of today's Summer Contest matchup weren't fooled. All is as it should be.

I guess I should stop playing Resident Evil 4 because it's on a Nintendo system therefore it's a kiddy game.

A game that's more fun and far gorier than GTA is kiddy because of the console it's on.

They're still less popular, proving my point. More people like Sony, especially when you look at how many of Nintendo's 15 million consoles are owned by children. It is a kiddy system whether or not you will agree, that's who it is marketed to.

Also, I found Fire Emblem 4... god I hate those oversized maps...
